LACC Georgia Business Mission to Puerto Rico

On August 18 and 19, the Latin American Chamber of Commerce of Georgia and LACC Board of Directors members visited Puerto Rico on a business mission to strengthen the business relationships between the State of Georgia, the Southeast, and Puerto Rico.

During the visit to San Juan, the LACC signed a partnership agreement with the Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce (CCPR) with the purpose of encouraging and further collaboration between the two chambers and establishing new relationships between business leaders in Puerto Rico and Georgia’s Latino community.

LACC President and CEO Alejandro Coss said, "Working collaboratively with organizations such as the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce fuels Georgia’s ability to expand a network of business partners. The LACC is proud of this new agreement that will create new opportunities between Georgia and  Puerto Rico.”

Ramon Perez Blanco, President of the CCPR, emphasized the importance of joining efforts with the private sector and state chambers of commerce at the national level, as well as with the government of Puerto Rico to advance specific issues that impact the quality of life of Puerto Ricans and business growth.

As part of this partnership agreement, the chambers will coordinate trade missions with their members to promote the opportunities that Puerto Rico and Georgia offer, establish business contacts, and identify prospects for expansion and export between both markets. The agreement contemplates holding special events with Latino and non-Latino companies in both jurisdictions between 2023 and 2024.
